I'm not sure if this is finished or not...
Anyways, first I beat the board with a screw driver and hammer, and I tried to burn it in spots. Then I just covered it with paint. After a while it looked like the red spots were petals. So, I painted some poppy flowers. After that I added some line art with a sharpie... yes, I know I'm obsessed with sharpies..

The top half of this piece is gorgeous~ The mixture of yellow, reds, and blues works beautifully together. The sharpie outlines are a great touch! The format is also amazing - it's long and tall - graceful like the same flowers depicted.
I would have done a different color for the leaves. It doesn't look quite right to me... but maybe that's just me...
